Everything about living by the ocean in San Diego inspired this piece... the breeze, mist, froth, cliffs, teal white light, pebbles, shells... and, of course, soft pale worn glass from distant shores. This piece, composed of multiple layers of marine-pigmented resin sandwiched between several panels of 1/8” thick acrylic, represents the abstract patterns, depth of luminosity, and fluctuations in hues of sea glass when collected in layers and penetrated by light in a clear jar.
