This art piece is made of long strips of dense, pulpy, heavily textured handmade paper, dipped in varying intensities of blue pigment, lined with gold. Each strip is connected to the next and wound one by one into currents of waves. This piece is the rising warming ocean, the slow salty swirls of ancient blue reclaiming the shores we thought we owned.
